Job Description

As part of the Application Development Team (ADT), you are responsible for the software development landscape within ADT. The control units are used in the development of new appliances for our colleagues at the various Bosch Home Comfort locations. In your role as DevOps Engineer, you will serve the needs of your ADT colleagues, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality products.

You will be involved in the entire software development process, with a primary focus on developing and maintaining the build street and infrastructure used by the team.

Responsibilities:
Drive Innovation: Collaborate with internal and external developers to define and refine requirements, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards.
Build and Maintain: Design, develop, test, and maintain our build street infrastructure using CI/CD building blocks provided by Bosch.
Automate for Efficiency: Streamline the build, test, and release processes through automation, minimizing manual intervention.
Utilize Advanced Tools: Work with industry-leading tools like Jenkins, Python, Artifactory, GIT, JIRA, Confluence, Conan, Conda, SonarQube, and Matlab Simulink.
Foster a Healthy Environment: Maintain robust and healthy development environments to support seamless software development.



Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development and/or CI/CD-related development and maintenance.
  • Familiar with configuration management and the use of software development toolchains and debugging environments.
  • Capable of writing software specifications and technical documentation.
  • Independent, accurate, enterprising, team player, and quality conscious.
  • Proactive attitude with accuracy and pragmatism.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Familiar with the Agile way of working.
  • Affinity with or experience in DevOps.
  • Open-minded and eager to learn new things.
