What you’ll do at Elekta
As a Data Migration Engineer, you will be at the forefront of planning and executing External Systems Interfaces (ESI) for Elekta software, using HL7 standards to ensure seamless data exchange across healthcare systems. You will guide customers in defining requirements, collaborate closely with technical teams to install and configure software, and carry out data migrations with precision and care. From troubleshooting complex integration challenges to delivering exceptional customer service, you’ll make a tangible impact on patient care worldwide.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Project Management
Manage ESI projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
Develop project plans, monitor progress, and proactively address challenges.
Technical Implementation
Install, configure, and test Elekta Mosaiq and related third-party applications.
Perform database migrations, data imports, merges, and updates while safeguarding data integrity.
Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, data mapping, and quality; provide expert technical support.
Customer Collaboration
Build strong relationships by understanding each customer’s unique needs and maintaining clear communication.
Provide status updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the refinement of ESI processes, documentation, and best practices.
Offer insights during product development to enhance future solutions.

What you bring
You have a solid background in healthcare IT and are well-versed in HL7 standards, data integration principles, and database best practices. You understand the intricacies of moving and merging clinical data, and your hands-on technical skills enable you to manage projects from inception to delivery with confidence.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in healthcare IT, particularly with HL7 standards
Proficiency in SQL, database administration, and migration tasks
Project management, problem-solving, and communication expertise
Customer service mindset and strong relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
