Cost Engineer

Your Responsibilities:

• Price Quoting and Data Management: Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to support the price quoting process.
• Product Benchmarking and Feasibility Studies: Lead product benchmarking initiatives and conduct feasibility studies for new products with the APQP team.
• Cost Monitoring and Reduction: Contribute to cost monitoring systems and procedures to track trends.
• Project Management: Implement cost calculations for products and manage projects in line with general guidelines.
• Documentation and SAP Activities: Create and maintain documents for R&D projects. Prepare documentation release packages, and understand CAD models, drawings, BOMs, process flow charts, and procedures.
• Engineering Change Management: Actively engage in the engineering change management process, ensuring technical and commercial alignment with internal and external customers.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.

• Proven experience in analyzing costs of new product launches and existing products.
• Experience managing R&D Center projects with organizations such as TUBITAK, HORIZON, or ERANET is an asset.
• Familiarity with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Project Management Tools (MS Project knowledge is beneficial).

• Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Strong analytical skills for cost analysis and reduction.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) within a global organization.
• Ability to create and monitor product costs, project budgets, and project plans.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is an asset.
• Ability to express ideas effectively through presentations and reports.
• Competence in SAP for cost calculations, BOMs, and routing activities.
• Team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
