Job Description
A leading Pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a Communications Manager for their Istanbul office.
The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Responsible for developing communication strategy, policies, and plans for internal and external communications within the assigned regions.
- Preparing written materials for various campaigns, and maintaining a range of publications to meet communication objectives.
- Developing and implementing communications strategies
- Maintaining links with local media to facilitate good communication by updating a list of all media contacts, meeting with key media personnel, and responding to media queries after required approval.
- Providing communications advice to the marketing team and other enabling functions based on marketing and communication strategies.
- As required, prepare speeches for the authorized spokesperson.
Skills
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
- Only candidates currently based in Turkey will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a relevant field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry, preferably from multinational companies.
- Exceptional communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening.
- Project management & problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of best writing and messaging practices for business correspondence, public relations, advertising, marketing, and social media.
- Excellent customer service, planning, and organizing skills.
- Attention to detail Solid experience in managing agencies and adapting regional and global campaigns to suit local markets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Turkish.
