We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced "Application Engineer" specializing in CMP at CMP Technology business in Electronics & Industrial division located at the Korea Technical Center (KTC) in Hwaseong, Korea.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead and support the development and market introduction of new CMP products.
Collaborate with R&D scientists to conduct laboratory experiments, analyze results and present findings to customers.
Provide expert application support for existing CMP technologies, troubleshoot product issues at customer sites, and work closely with technical teams to deliver timely solutions.
Actively seek and drive new business and technological advancements within the CMP domain.
Network and engage with current and potential customers and industry peers to gather market intelligence and stay informed about industry trends.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in polymer science, physics, chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong focus on CMP processes and technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships with key customers such as Samsung and Hynix, and collaborating closely with internal teams (R&D, Marketing, Technical team, Account team)
Proven team player with they ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Fluent in both Korean and English with strong written and spoken communication skills
In depth knowledge of Quality Management and Statistical Process Control (SPC) within the semiconductor industry
Strong technical service and sales orientation, with a proactive approach to customer support and business development
