We seek a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Support Engineer to join our dynamic and agile cloud team. Join our team and help us drive the success of our cloud team!ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for cloud infrastructure, addressing and resolving customer issues in a timely manner.Monitor and maintain cloud systems to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and scalability.Collaborate with customers' development and operations teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud services and applications.Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence.Escalate issues to cloud service providers' support teams if needed.Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.Maintain and implement monitoring systems and alarms.Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage as needed.QualificationsBS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Proven experience as a Cloud Support Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts.Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud with 2+ years of hands-on experience in production workloads.Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems. Experience in Debian or RHEL Linux distributions on the production environment will be preferred.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration in cloud environments.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to collaborate effectively, are essential.Nice to HaveCertifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch.Knowledge of database administration and optimization in cloud environments.Understanding of DevOps practices and culture.
