We provide critical insights and strategic guidance to businesses on sustainability practices, helping them align with evolving environmental standards and achieve meaningful impact.
We’re currently looking for a Climate Finance Expert.
The key duties of the successful candidate are:
- Conduct actuarial analyses to evaluate the financial implications of sustainability risks, including climate change, environmental degradation, and regulatory changes,
- Develop and maintain models to forecast the impact of sustainability initiatives on financial performance,
- Analyze data related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors to identify risks and opportunities,
- Ensure compliance with IFRS S1-S2 standards in all relevant financial assessments and reporting,
- Prepare and present reports on sustainability metrics and actuarial findings to senior management and stakeholders,
- Monitor and stay updated on emerging sustainability regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements, In-depth knowledge of IFRS S1-S2 standards.
The requirements for the successful candidate are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance and Statistics, or a related field,
- Professional actuarial qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ASA, FSA) or progression towards obtaining these credentials,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in statistical modeling and risk assessment,
- Knowledge of sustainability issues, including climate change, renewable energy, and ESG factors,
- Proficiency in actuarial software and data analysis tools such as Excel,
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex actuarial concepts to non-technical stakeholders,
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail,
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting environmentally and socially responsible business practices.
