We require someone who can own and handle Chubb European claims received within standard personal settlement authority limits, whilst providing support and achieving self-development by assisting on Chubb European defined ‘complex’ claims, completing specific activities within demanding Service Level Agreements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately assess and evaluate policy liability, calculate reserves and settlement values of ‘non-complex’ claims within allocated workload.
- Develop knowledge and personal competencies to include claims from casualty and property claims.
- Provide support to Claims Manager by accurately completing, under the direction of the manager, specific duties on ‘complex’ claims.
- Meet requirements of specific schemes allocated to individual team to ensure client satisfaction and business retention.
- Manage own correspondence effectively and efficiently.
- Provide general assistance and support to department, colleagues and managers including projects and ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
- Work within the framework of Chubb ethical and service standards and fulfil compliance and regulatory requirements.
