Channel Sales Specialist - Turkey
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for a motivated and dynamic Channel Sales Specialist to join our Microbiology team in Turkey. You will have a great opportunity to make a difference in the world by developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies for our Clinical Diagnostics business across the region.

A day in the Life:
- Identify new opportunities within the field of clinical diagnostics and develop marketing activity plans to exceed annual sales and growth targets.
- Support channel partners and educate medical practitioners on the clinical benefits of our products, including planning and completing congress activities, workshops, and regular customer and partner visits.
- Develop a strong scientific knowledge base by familiarizing with the latest publications, providing scientific expertise, and facilitating clinical studies.
- Maintain technical expertise and profound domain knowledge by establishing relationships with internal team members and collaborators, becoming a trusted internal voice of the customer.
- Report technical problems and their solutions, sharing insights and knowledge among the team.
- Participate in Monthly Business Reviews to expand sales potential in Turkey.
- Maintain and develop the CRM database, providing regular sales reports and forecasts.
Keys to Success:
Education
- University degree or equivalent experience preferably in Medicine, Biology, or Biomedical sciences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with demonstrated ability in clinical/scientific research, medical devices, or IVD industry, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Confirmed experience in international commercial sales/marketing/distribution in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or medical products.
- Previous experience in the medical device/IVD industry.
- Exposure to research and working with scientific papers and publications is a strong advantage.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Understanding of regulated diagnostic markets and sales of instruments and reagents in this industry.
- Good market intelligence with respect to competitive products and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional and personal relationships with KOLs, doctors, specialists, customers, and channel partners.
- Consultative selling skills addressing customer´s individual needs based on clinical data.
- Ability to understand and explain complex scientific literature and data to support the sales process.
- Commercial competence to promote the value proposition of our technical solutions.
- Excellent digital literacy, especially with document, presentation, and report preparation.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, written and spoken: proficient in English and native Turkish.
