What are my responsibilities?
- Represents Siemens Mobility to customers, suppliers, government and the media by fostering an intimate and trusting partnership with our stakeholders
- Directs and controls the activities to achieve its short and long-term financial and operating objectives (e.g. profitability, productivity, market share) as set by the overall corporate business plans
- Anticipates market developments and new ways of thinking for market penetration and demand generation
- Responsible for EHS and compliance
- In charge of growing the revenue & margin for cost optimization by shaping a lean organization to improve competitiveness
- Commit Siemens Mobility BUs and affiliated companies to commercial terms and conditions, working within the relevant limits of authority and framework aligned with HQ SMO BUs & Corporate Functions upfront
- Accountable for the legal entity representing Siemens Mobility including the external and formal responsibilities and personal liabilities
- Liable for coaching, guiding and developing a team of senior managers to ensure that SMO achieves its business objectives and follows all relevant national regulations and laws by establishing a culture of compliance among the different Siemens Mobility operations
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Technical Engineering or similar field
- You have 5 -10 years of management experience within Mobility or Transportation business
- Strong leadership experience with people and customer management accountability
- You are experienced in redefining customer requirements into beneficial and strategic business models
- You are experienced in dealing with investment projects by using your strong management skills
- You have a deep knowledge about the railway industry including a comprehensive understanding of future requirements (e.g. digital transformation, software and data-driven analysis) and its implications on our business
- You have a clear understanding of successfully aligning the business models in your countries to the wider SMO strategy
- You are used to work closely with senior Executives effectively and communicating with them on a range of commercial, strategic and operational business issues
- You have a high level of intercultural sensitivity and the ability to deal confidentially and expertly with senior managers in your countries and beyond .
