About you and this role


As a Maintenance Engineering Intern at DOW Chemicals, you will gain practical experience in maintaining and improving the reliability of production equipment and systems. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with seasoned professionals, learn about maintenance strategies, and contribute to the operational efficiency of our facilities. You will be involved in various projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance and ensuring smooth production operations.

Responsibilities / Duties



You will work on reliability improvement projects to eliminate process breakdowns and creating maintenance warehouse management system as assigned by a Reliability Manager on a wide variety of process plant equipment including:


  • Rotating equipment – pumps, seals, agitators, conveyors.
  • Fixed Equipment – vessels, heat exchangers and piping systems.

Qualifications


  • You are currently studying for a bachelor/master’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineer.
  • You have a good working knowledge of English and Turkish.
  • Good communication skills as the person doing this project will be working with a multidisciplinary group.

Preferred Skills


  • Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, or similar tools and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
