Job Description
What's the role about?
Support the financial controlling department of the plant necessary for the operational of the company or the business unit. Prepare financial analysis, reports, and budget forecasts. Participate in the company's monthly and yearly closing. Contribute to the design and management of the budget process. Prevent inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting. Review financial data periodically to ensure its fairness and completeness. Assist in special projects whenever asked.
What will you do?
- Financial Management and Control
Work within established systems to deliver prescribed outcomes for a designated area of financial control. - Insights and Reporting
Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports. - Information and Business Advice
Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy. - Data Collection and Analysis
Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends. - Solutions Analysis
Interpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures and precedents. - Cost Accounting
Evaluate costs and identify variances or opportunities to improve profitability for more senior colleagues. - Project Management
Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals. - Financial Policies, Guidelines, and Protocols
Contribute to the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice. - Operational Compliance
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Experience in project management and cost accounting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish.
