Automation Engineer


You will be responsible for managing Capex projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and policies. You will also introduce new technology to improve quality and cost competitiveness. Your role involves supporting engineering, production, and QC for equipment modifications to maintain high product quality at optimal cost. 


Position:


As the Automation Engineer, you will: 


  • Complete the management activities within budget and schedule, adhering to JTI quality and EHS standards
  • Work with external engineering services
  • Collaborate with contractors and equipment vendors to implement projects
  • The Technical Services Group provide coaching to enhance subordinates' performance
  • Implement investments through full communication with the requester department
  • Ensure projects comply with technical standards and CAPEX policies
  • Collect and evaluates financial data to track project progress
  • Assist in implementing and improving ISO 9002 and 14001 management systems
  • Ensures all project activities comply with JTI's EHS standards
  • Support production and QC in defining optimal maintenance programs in coordination with global teams and third parties
  • Apply global, factory, and regional initiatives to improve factory performance
  • Prepare specifications and scopes of work for BAP or project developments
  • Create BAP documents in the intranet system
     

Requirements:  
 


  • University degree in Engineering - Electric & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Automation Engineer
  • Advanced level of English knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years of similar work experience
  • Advanced level of MS Office S/W packages
  • PLC, SCADA, and digital knowledge are preferred
  • Beckhoff Automation knowledge will be a plus 
  • AutoCAD knowledge is an asset
