We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Associate  Accountant to join our team in Istanbul, Turkey. As an Associate Accountant, you will be responsible for managing invoicing processes, monitoring accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Your role will require you to accurately handle financial transactions, oversee cash flow, and collaborate with internal teams to provide timely reports. 

What You’ll Do


  • Process daily bank statements and prepare weekly payment proposals.
  • Execute bank payments and manage accruals, including expenses and unbilled accounts.
  • Ensure timely invoice recording and monitor credit card payments, expenses, and business travel reports across countries.
  • Test ERP software and support automation projects.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for monthly reporting and assist with internal, external, and statutory audits.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable.
  • Keep P&L and balance sheet records accessible and up-to-date.
  • Support internal controls for bookkeeping and document management.
  • Complete additional finance-related tasks as needed.

What You Need For This Role


  • A background in accounting with 2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar finance roles
  • Proficiency in processing bank statements, payments, and handling accruals for financial accuracy
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally LOGO /SAP
  • An eye for detail in preparing monthly reports, audit support, and maintaining comprehensive P&L and balance sheet records
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Fluency in English.
