Job Title: Project Manager – Agile Transformation Specialist

Our client, a leading IT Services and Consulting company, is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Project Manager to join their Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This pivotal role will oversee the transformation of clients' operating models through the implementation of Agile methodologies using the SAFe framework. The Project Manager will ensure alignment with organizational strategic objectives, delivering successful outcomes by managing cross-functional teams, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Transformation Leadership: Manage the end-to-end process of transforming clients’ operating models to Agile, leveraging the SAFe framework.
Project Planning & Initiation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans to guide execution.
Resource Management: Allocate and optimize resources to ensure successful project delivery and maximize team effectiveness.
Budget Management: Create, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure efficient use of financial resources.
Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks proactively, implementing strategies to mitigate negative impacts on timelines and outcomes.
Stakeholder Communication: Ensure transparent and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates, gathering feedback, and aligning project objectives.
Project Execution: Supervise daily project activities, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Issue Resolution: Promptly address and resolve challenges to maintain project momentum.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report project performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve objectives.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and communication logs.
Continuous Improvement: Identify lessons learned and share best practices to enhance future project outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience managing Agile transformation projects, preferably using the SAFe framework.
Strong expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe) and best practices.
Relevant certifications: SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Fluent in German and English (required).
Proactive problem-solving skills with a strong focus on risk management.
Experience working in or with a PMO/EPMO environment.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.
Expertise in stakeholder engagement within complex, matrixed organizations.
Knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, or other project management software.
