Description
As Accounting Intern, you will support day-to-day financial tasks and assist with accounting operations. You will report to the Finance Manager and be part of our dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced global team that is driving growth and efficiency in finance.
Role expectations

• Support with administrative tasks related to finance and accounting functions.
• Booking all the journal accounting activities in the ERP system (purchase & sales invoices, bank movements, import & export files, employee travel expense reports etc.)
• Support AP/AR Reconciliations
• Assist in all monthly and yearly accounting closing activities
• Filing all necessary accounting documentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provides a full support of Align Turkey financial and accounting activities
• Collaboration with Shared Services center / Regional Accounting team related to necessary accounting postings
• Assist in the preparation of tax declarations and government-related forms in timely manner (VAT1, VAT2, Stamp Duty, Recycling Tax, Withholding Tax Return, SSI, Provisional Tax Return, CIT, Turkish Statistical Institute etc.)
• E-Invoice, E-Archive, E-Ledger practices

What we're looking for

• New graduate or currently studying in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Process oriented mindset: defining end-to-end processes, process optimization
• Ability to manage flexible workload
• Intermediate English proficiency, sufficient for business communication and task completion.
