Who You Are?- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field, - 1-3 years of experience in accounting and finance operations departments of financial institutions such as brokerage firms or portfolio management companies,- Solid understanding of accounting and financial operations, especially regarding legal obligations, knowledge of accounting and reconciliation process, advanced proficiency in MS Office applications,- Knowledge in tax legislation and capable of managing tax processes, SPK regulations and rules, IFRS process, - Ability to make quick decisions and resolve issues, strong skills in reporting, analysis, and time management,- Excellent communication skills and ability to build good relations in a team, ability to work collaboratively with different departments, - Preferably possession of one of the Capital Markets Board (SPK) licenses (Level 1 or Level 3),
- No military obligation for male candidates, - Proficient in English. What You’ll Do?- Assisting in the preparation of company accounting records in accordance with legal regulations, - Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly routine financial records, supporting internal and external reporting processes for the company,- Tracking daily accounting tasks, including month-end activities, accounts payable/receivable processes, general ledger reconciliations, and working closely with accounting/finance and business teams to closely monitor the types of transactions subject to reconciliation, - Managing the company’s periodic (monthly, quarterly, yearly) financial closing processes and coordinating with corresponding teams, supporting internal and external reporting processes for the company,- Handling the invoicing processes, including incoming and out going invoices, and record them in the accounting system, tracking processes with vendors, including payments and reconciliations,- Managing all tax related matters of the company to ensure timely and proper tax filings, calculating and making tax payments (Monthly Withholding Tax, Banking and Insurance Transactions Tax, VAT, Stamp Tax), - Conducting E-Book (E-Defter) operations, - Working in coordination with the operations team to support transaction-related activities,- Initiating and executing projects to create efficient and aligned accounting & tax processes, working closely with IT and business teams to identify problems and make improvements for process enhancement.
