Account Payable Specialist

We are looking for a Accounting Payable Specialist to join our team in Kocaeli, Türkiye.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Running the CO module in SAP and making the reports received from SAP ready for submission to the Budget and Reporting Unit,
• To assist the Budget Reporting Unit in preparing Ad-Hoc reports and providing the requested information,
• Monthly bank account reconciliation,
• Calculation of monthly inter-company loans and interest,
• Receive and process all invoices,
• Receive and process all expense forms and requests for payments,
• Raise invoices and process income receipts for all departments in the Head Office,
• Process electronic bank transfers,
• Process corporate credit card expense claims and reconciliation,
• Filling of financial documentation,
• Assist the team with month end process,
• Respond to routine enquires from staff/customers and suppliers in a timely manner and investigates matter when required,
• Provide advice to managers and staff on relevant financial issues,
• Contribute to the continues business improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (especially in Port and Management),
• At least 5 years experience in accounting and reporting department,
• Good ERP knowledge (preferably SAP-especially CO, MM and FI modules) skills,
• Good Cost Accounting knowledge,
• Good knowledge of legal legislation, knowledge of preparing tax declarations,
• CPA certificate is preferred,
• Microsoft Office knowledge (esp. Excel and word should be very good),
• Fluency in both English and Turkish, written and spoken.
