We're strengthening our Distribution Center team and looking for our Impex Associates to join us !

As an Impex Associate, you support day-to-day import and export execution, ensure compliance to standards and support global initiatives for Trade and Customs enhancements.


Your main responsibilities are but not limited to:


  • Administrate local import and export processes for commercial and NCG.
  • Timely prepare and administrate entries for customs clearance and support compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs.
  • Support opportunities to optimize regional customs and tax in line with local regulations and aligned with Global Trade & Customs department and strategies, this includes international transport matters such as shipment tracing, monitoring, freight invoicing and reviewing.
  • Communicate with state customs and other reg. regulators on a day-to-day operational basis.
  • Closely collaborate with Tax and Accounting to ensure compliance with country requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role as Impex Associate, you should have strong knowledge of import and export processes in region across all types of cross-border flows. You should have agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and create meaningful growth and ability to collaborate and co-create with others.


What you need to succeed:


  • Minimum 2 years of strong expertise in relevant field.
  • Understanding of global Trade & Customs rules and regulations for regional execution.
  • Overview on relevant regional market environment and cross-border trade relationships.
  • Knowledge of international forwarding.
  • Coordination skills and “can do” attitude to effectively resolve day-to-day issues and drive smooth process support.
  • Ability to understand your impact to others and contribution to the bigger picture.
  • Advanced user for Office 365 Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams etc.).
  • Good knowledge of common IT applications. SAP knowledge is an asset.
  • Minimum B2 Level English & C2 Level Turkish both written and verbal.

Additional Information

This is a fulltime permanent position, starting as soon as possible according to agreement, offered on a local contract, and based in our Logistics Center in Tuzla.
