About the team:
Stream UBIX is a Backoffice solution for financial world. Withing this team, the UBIX integration team is responsible on the development of specific projects requested by our clients. The UBIX product offers to our clients (mainly multinational bank) the capacity to automatically calculate all financial aspects of their derivatives activities (Tax, Regulation, Interests…linked to the activity of selling and buying derivatives within financial markets around the world like EUREX, ICE, HKFE...).
What you will be doing:
The Integration projects offers to our clients the possibility to integrate UBIX with the other software solutions used by them. Those projects offer the opportunity to master the echo system of financial word and to sharp negotiations skills related to project dates and scope.
In an agile team, you will acquire both functional and technical skills in the domain of derivatives markets. You will also learn Software development best practices to deliver a product without defects and on time. Your day to day tasks will be.
Implement new enhancements by creating PLSQL scripts to retrieve data, transform them and provide the results to external system.
Develop Graphic Interface using Python 3
Ensure corrective/evolutive maintenance
Work with client services in solving issues
Interacts with product owner, BA and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science.
Good problem-solving skills
PLSQL Knowledge (Database views, SQL Joins..)
Relevent Experience in Python
In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
Good English level (sprint reviews, presentation, …)
Inclination new technologies discovery/learning
Added bonus if you have:
Derivative markets and instruments knowledge
