We are looking for a SRE automation and platform support to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers.
You'll be responsible for rapidly understanding unfamiliar, internal applications, then improving their reliability and efficiency through automation, robust monitoring, proactive issue resolution, and suggesting key enhancements.
You must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively
What you will be doing:
Identify and eliminate toil through automation and process improvements
Collaborate with development teams to ensure that new features are designed for reliability and operability
Monitor infrastructure using SRE tools and build monitoring alerts and incident response processes.
Provide technical support activities for a software production processing environment.
Install, maintain, upgrade java weblogic and support application/source code and its components and subsystems, including third-party software.
Analyze and resolve incidents, problems, or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components.
Offer technical assistance to programming staff in the analysis of application software amendments, performance, and resource consumption.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the support of application software.
What you bring:
Experience: + 6 years of experience in Application Support and Production Support.
Proficiency in Unix, SQL, Oracle , Unix Shell scripting, Python, Ansible, java ,WebLogic, Automation.
AWS Experience
knowledge in Terraform is advantageous ( To build AWS infrastructure)
Knowledge of support and monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
Experience in troubleshooting, incident triaging, log analysis, and ensuring platform stability.
Familiarity with Incident and Change Management processes.
Experience in troubleshooting LINUX application-related issues/Understanding of Cron or Batch job processes.
Awareness of the financial services industry
Excellent English communication skills with a customer-oriented attitude.
Working as part of an On-Call rota.
