Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Engineering Center of Excellence



We're looking for passionate Infrastructure Engineers who love building scalable cloud solutions and driving DevOps best practices. If you're excited about working with cutting-edge technology and helping shape the future of our cloud infrastructure, we want to talk to you!

What You'll Do



Design and implement robust cloud infrastructure solutions that scale Lead and contribute to our infrastructure modernization initiatives, including cloud migrations Own our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation processes Architect and maintain our container orchestration platforms (Docker Swarm & Kubernetes) Drive infrastructure-as-code adoption using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions Champion security best practices across our cloud infrastructure

Core Responsibilities



Manage and optimize our Jenkins platform, including access control and pipeline automation Maintain high availability for critical infrastructure and application environments Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and environment consistency Handle incident response and provide technical leadership during critical situations Optimize costs and performance across our AWS infrastructure Mentor team members on cloud best practices and DevOps principles

Technical Skills We're Looking For



Solid experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch) Experience with other components (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, EMR) is a plus. Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible) Knowledge of monitoring solutions (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Nagios) Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices

Required Experience



5+ years of systems engineering experience 4+ years of AWS cloud platform experience 4+ years of DevOps practices and tools 2+ years of container orchestration experience 4+ years of Proficiency in scripting languages (python, bash)

What Makes You Stand Out



Experience with microservices architectures Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle) Familiarity with API Gateway, SQS, and DynamoDB Experience with DevOps practices Security certifications (AWS Security, CISSP, etc.) Experience mentoring other engineers Experience with working on Windows based application architectures
