Reporting directly to the Branch & Commercial Manager, we seek an energetic and enthusiastic Salesperson—Modernization to join our Tunis, Tunisia office. The modernization hunter collaborates with new KONE customers, primarily in lifts in operation, actively seeking modernization possibilities beyond the existing client pool. They assess, rank, and reply to requests for quotes (RFQs). Additionally, they handle sales of all modernization projects, complete replacements, Advanced People Flow Solutions, and various digital offerings.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a go-getter who understands how to partner and collaborate with the business. We need someone who can influence, is result-driven, and possesses strong commercial acumen skills.

What you will do:



Actively builds and nurtures customer relationships within their assigned area. Takes ownership of strengthening KONE’s presence among their customer base or market. Identifies and shares leads and sales opportunities across the KONE sales team, including cross-selling potential. Ensures customers are satisfied, working with the KONE team to resolve complaints effectively. Keeps customer and contact details up to date, maintaining accurate records. Seeks out new business opportunities beyond the existing customer base. Manages requests for quotes (RFQs) efficiently. To hit sales budgets and pricing goals, drive accountability for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts. Uncovers customer needs and ensures KONE’s solutions align seamlessly with them. Sets competitive pricing and optimizes discounts within their authority, using approved tools. Confirms contract terms reflect negotiation outcomes accurately. Tracks opportunities, tasks, and visits thoroughly for effective sales funnel management. Provides timely, precise updates in the CRM system. Gathers and shares insights on market trends and competitors from the field. Assists the finance team with payment collection efforts. Takes charge of executing their personal sales plan with focus and results.
A diploma or higher will be advantageous. A minimum of 3 - 5 years of technical experience in the elevator/escalator industry is preferred. Minimum 3 - 5 years technical experience in construction, building materials and/or customer industry. Experience from/ familiar with solution selling methodology. Experience from/ familiar with (selling) complex technology solutions. Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with a focus on high-level customer service. Passion for sales, with a proven track record and strong customer focus. Fluency in English is a must.
