Production Shift Supervisor. The role reports to the Production Manager and is based on-site, at our manufacturing plant in Tunis (Tunisia) producing Aluminium Beverage cans and operating 24/7.

Your mission in Crown
Supervise the production operations to deliver a high-quality product while ensuring the optimized use of equipment, materials and human resources.
Main Responsibilities
• Ensure production aligns with the schedule, meeting required quantities and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure reliable production records and conduct data analysis.
• Work closely with the Quality team to ensure adherence to plant policies and standards.
• Review recurring maintenance issues and coordinate with departments to determine appropriate actions.
• Initiate and monitor maintenance requests and work orders in collaboration with the Maintenance team until repairs are completed.
• Support the introduction of new technologies or processes that enhance production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Conduct 6S audits, document findings, and implement corrective actions: Work closely with the plant team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead the coordination and effective rollout of Industry 4.0 initiatives with the support of group experts.
• Analyse potential causes of production losses and implement appropriate corrective actions to minimize waste.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new or improved practices to optimize the use of equipment, materials and human resources.
• Lead meetings on various topics such as handovers, safety and improvement initiatives.
• Manage and mentor team members, instilling a strong commitment to achieving set objectives.
About You
• Technical background, preferably Mechanical or Industrial university degree.
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing or high-speed production environment (experience in can-making or packaging is a plus).
• Proven experience in team management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Excellent planning, organization and communication skills and the ability to up-date and feedback progress to a wide variety of people is essential.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with knowledge and work experience of using structured Continuous Improvement Tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong Health and Safety mind-set.
• Good level of English, spoken and written.
