Production Quality Manager



We are looking for a Production Quality Manager for the production site “Vetra” of our customer Bierbaum – Proenen (BP). Reporting directly to the Production Manager in Tunisia, the Production Quality Manager shall be responsible for ensuring the quality and conformity of the goods produced, as well as the production process. The aim is to raise awareness of the quality approach among everyone involved in the manufacturing process. About the company:

Key Responsibilities



Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks: 1) At the parent company's production site: · Setting up the processes of the production quality control · Manage a team responsible for ensuring the quality and conformity of the goods produced, as well as the production process. · Manage teams of quality controllers, supplier quality technicians, manufacturing quality technicians, etc. · Representing the organization to customers in the area of quality and acting as a problem-solving manager. In addition, the Quality Manager is a "key man" in the company. · Being the guarantor of the company's reputation. A simple defect in a product can have major economic repercussions and cause a certain amount of damage. · The quality manager, as the name suggests, is therefore in a position of considerable responsibility. 2) In sub-contractors’ companies: · Setting up the processes of the production quality control · Check the conformity of products and certify their quality at the end of the manufacturing or production stages. · Set up measurement indicators to guarantee the application of quality instructions, in line with regulatory manufacturing standards. · Draw up reports on compliance checks carried out · Raise awareness of the quality approach among everyone involved in the manufacturing process · Propose corrective and technical measures in response to any anomalies observed · Provide technical support to production line operators

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



· Textile engineer/technician with a significant professional experience in industrial textile production or quality control · Good communication with all levels of hierarchy and German team · Good interpersonal skills and ability to position yourself in relation to the teams at all manufacturers · Responsive and rigorous, pragmatic, proactive and dynamic · Strong organizational skills. Being recognized as a driving force, rigorous and autonomous. · A good level of English is essential · Driving license is required · Possible travel abroad
