Title of Position: Product Data Management Specialist - Evening Shift
Location:  Tunis , Tunisia

ROLE SUMMARY:


The role of the PDM Specialist is to compile and create product details for the pens.com, Goldstar, and Cimpress Merchants (XCF) using MCP, Scenemaker, Oracle, National Pen PIM, and other tools. This position will work with a variety web-based programs to enter and create product data, images, drop-ship orders and other data in support the fulfillment of customer orders globally. This position will support the creation and development, configuration, and availability of the marketing channel of all product lines, categories, and assortments in support of the overall product plan of the Global Merchandising, Site Merchandising, Goldstar and XCF team merchandising teams. Additionally, supports daily activities as well as one-time and long-term special projects with cross-functional departments including Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, Operations, Marketing, Creative, and PDM to ensure applicable product configuration, timeliness of that configuration, and addressing any issues preventing product configuration as needed.



PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:


Serve as primary point of contact for product data entry into the various systems used by National Pen and its brands for product creation and setup. This position will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on product setup, product setup process/workflows, and application data requirements. Other duties include assembling detailed product data attributes for load to PDM data apps (e.g., PIM MCP), and assure accuracy of API feed data for National Pen and Cimpress merchandisers. Additionally, this position will work with the Merchandising team for the Master Planning Process (MPP) to establish key quarterly calendar dates that affect workflow in merchandising operations: line planning, creation and activation of products.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform product setup actions and requirements, as well as the custom and special situations for specific brand or project requirements as required.
  • Attend the quarterly launch and new weekly product introduction (NPI) meetings.
  • Request SKUs for all internally managed and drop-shipped products in our Product Information Management (PIM) tool.
  • Enter and maintain product information in PIM, MCP, and Oracle ensuring they reflect accurate information and points to the correct bill of materials.
  • Ensure proper and timely completion of applicable quarterly and monthly line plans for cross-functional partners.
  • Support collaboration of Merchandising and Product Development, Marketing, Planning and PDM teams to execute product data requests, including updating product names, copy, costs, retail pricing, and images.
  • Receive merchandise request forms for quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc releases and execute name, copy, costs, suggested retail, images, and cross/up-sells as required.
  • Follow up with the Site Merchandising team on releases as soon as the PDM team finalizes product setup (e.g., categorization, translation, on-site QA, etc.).
  • Monitor PDM apps and systems while assisting in proper customer order workflow management ensuring no blockers are in place to preview the sale of National Pen products.
  • Update and modify product lifecycle status in PIM as requested by Merchandising and Product Lifecycle Management team.
  • Update MCP with phased outs, changes in product or process etc.
  • Identify and resolve any disruptions in Promo Standards inventory feed.
  • Conduct customer experience audits and quality checks to ensure proper product site setup as per Merchandising.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:


Experience


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years’ data management experience within Excel (Required).

Technicians


  • Data management and Project management.
  • Organizational skills and time management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) – must be comfortable in working with spreadsheets with large amounts of data, comparing multiple spreadsheets, etc.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem solving skills a plus.
