Job Description:


We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to process and manage the company’s payroll for France. The goal of this role is to ensure that employees receive the correct compensation in a timely manner.


How you will make your mark:


  • Acts as a member of the Payroll team and proactively liaises with vendors, HR, employees, Payroll Accounting and Controllership to ensure that payroll is processed efficiently
  • Responsibilities to include input, process payroll and administer all outputs of payroll
  • Calculates the correct amount incorporating work time, overtime, time off, deductions, bonuses etc.
  • Keeps track of wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, terminations etc.
  • Processes taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Prepares and executes pay orders
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payroll
  • Handles queries regarding payroll from employees and managers
  • Prepares reports for upper management, finance department etc.

About you:


  • Bachelor’s degree in economics/vocational education in Payroll or corresponding work experience
  • Experience in working in large/medium-sized companies is an asset
  • Proven experience in processing and managing payroll
  • Knowledge of SAP GlobalView would be a big plus
  • Very good knowledge of the local legislation and regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Advanced in French and English is a must
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting in payroll
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Outstanding time management skills, ability to prioritize and to work on projects
  • Good business acumen
