Java Technical leader

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Provide leadership to the team and customers and be responsible for the technical implementation
• Liaise with various stakeholders to understand the requirements and constraints from a technical perspective
• Ensure quality delivery by collaborating with the relevant teams e.g., project team, infrastructure, and development team
• Provide advice and serve as the subject matter expert
• Establish and maintain good business relationships with all stakeholders

WHAT DO WE ASK OF YOU?

• Computer Science degree or Information Systems or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of Java/JEE and the most common design patterns
• Good knowledge of WebServices (SOAP/REST), GIT and SQL
• Ability to design software architectures, with particular focus on APIs (in particular Rest)
• Proven experience in microservices on Docker infrastructure
• Use of frameworks for the development of microservice architectures & Kubernetes (e.g. Quarkus, Knative or OpenWhisk)
• Applied knowledge of Agile methodologies Scrum, Waterfall,Kanban, etc.
• Use and mastery of Jira, Confluence, Netsuite
• Oracle SQL Proficiency 
• English proficiency is mandatory

Furthermore, experiences in the following areas are HIGHLY APPRECIATED:

• Experience in the Insurance or Financial industry.
• Italian language
