Dear Students,

Are you ready to apply your analytical skills to revolutionize manufacturing processes? Yazaki Gafsa is excited to offer an enriching internship opportunity in Data-Driven Process Optimization in Manufacturing. This role will allow you to leverage data and analytics to make a tangible impact on production efficiency.

Impact of the Project:
As an intern, you will work on initiatives designed to:

• Increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the production process.
• Utilize advanced analytics and visualization tools to provide actionable insights.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

1. Descriptive Analytics:

   
   
   • Analyze data to find averages, ranges, and patterns (e.g., production rate by shift).

2. Diagnostic Analytics:

   
   
   • Investigate correlations between variables, such as high downtime during specific operations.

3. Dashboards with Power BI:

   
   
   • Create visual dashboards to showcase:
     • Bottlenecks in production flow.
     • Heatmaps of machine performance.
     • Trends in defects or downtime.

4. Cycle Time Analysis:

   
   
   • Calculate cycle times for each process step and compare them to benchmarks.

5. Throughput Analysis:

   
   
   • Examine overall production throughput to locate and address slow areas.

6. Capacity Utilization:

   
   
   • Determine under- or over-utilized machines or workstations for better resource allocation.

• Proficiency in Power BI and a strong understanding of data analytics concepts.
