Job Description

Our client is a leading company in the e-commerce space, seeking an E-commerce Specialist to support their e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in platforms like Shopify, Recharge, and Contentful. This role involves assisting with tasks such as QA, order management, and report generation across the e-commerce stack.


Location:
Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST


Key Responsibilities:


  • E-commerce Platform Support: Manage and support e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Recharge, and Contentful, ensuring smooth operation and accuracy.


  • Content Management: Update banners and content in Contentful, manage copy changes, and perform QA on website content to maintain a high-quality user experience.


  • Shopify Management: QA and update discount codes, add and manage Shopify apps, and support operations by QAing orders and investigating order spikes for potential fraud.


  • Referral Program & Fraud Monitoring: Oversee the referral program and investigate order spikes and other irregularities for potential fraud.


  • Customer Service Escalations: Act as the first point of contact for investigating customer service escalations, such as shipping concerns.


  • Email & Flow QA: Perform QA on email marketing flows and ensure data flows in Shop Flow are functioning properly. Support NPI (New Product Introduction) tasks.


  • Shipping & Inventory Monitoring: Assist in monitoring shipping switches, Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), and inventory levels. QA orders post-changes for accuracy.


  • Reports & Analytics: Generate customer reports in Shopify, conduct light SEO tracking, and manually QA marketing pixels. Experience with Google Analytics or Amplitude is a plus.


  • Light Technical Work (Nice to have): Monitor and QA data flows between systems and platforms to ensure smooth operation.


What Success Looks Like:


  • Efficient E-commerce Operations: Ensure seamless support across the e-commerce stack, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.


  • Proactive Problem Solving: Resolve e-commerce issues, including fraud, order spikes, and customer service escalations, quickly and effectively.


  • Accurate Content & Reporting: Ensure website content, email flows, and reports are accurate, driving optimal user experience and performance.


  • Collaborative Support: Provide robust support to the operations team, ensuring smooth and efficient e-commerce processes.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: 2+ years in e-commerce support roles, familiar with platforms like Shopify, Recharge, and Contentful.


  • Technical Skills: Experience with QAing content, discount codes, referral programs, and data flows. Experience with Google Analytics and Amplitude is a plus.


  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to monitor and QA various e-commerce processes.


  • Problem Solver: Proactive approach to investigating and resolving issues related to orders, fraud, and customer service escalations.


  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and provide clear updates to teams.


  • Light Technical Skills (Nice to have): Some experience monitoring and QAing flows within Shop Flow and other e-commerce platforms.
