Position overview:
Reporting directly to the Quality manager, our future customer quality responsible will be the customer's representative on the site, You are also responsible for the proper application of the quality policy throughout the site according to the requirements of the customer, the IATF standard, and the group.
Main Missions :
- Supervise the internal quality team’s operations.
- Act as the liaison and ensure effective communication with the client.
- Manage records related to final inspections in coordination with the relevant team members.
- Track and report on key performance indicators, internal and external non-conformities, and customer complaints.
- Lead and oversee the development of action plans in response to internal and external complaints.
- Contribute to the development and updates of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Create and maintain Control Plans.
- Monitor and resolve internal and customer rejections.
- Oversee the inspection of prototypes and pre-production series.
- Provide training and information to quality controllers following complaints or new specifications.
- Halt production to resolve internal or external quality-related issues.
- Manage customer protection measures in the event of identified non-conformities.
- Assist in the creation of quality documentation for Engineering Inspection (EI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) in collaboration with the engineering department for new projects or modifications.
- Respond to quality complaints (Quality Notice - QN) through the SQTS system.
- Monitor and handle customer returns.
- Ensure internal quality training for seamstresses and controllers.
- Adhere to the 7 Key Safety and Hygiene Elements.
QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate actively with all departments to achieve and maintain the following certifications:
- ISO TS 16949
- ISO 14001
To be successful for this role :
- Engineering degree
- More than 3 years of Experience in automotive Industry in a similar position
- More than 1 year of Experience in Customer Quality role
- Knowledge and practical experience with tools and methods as P-FMEA, PPAP and 8D
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, 19011
- SAP knowledge or similar ERP system is appreciated
- Good knowledge of in Office tools (Excel)
- Strong organizational skills
- Good analytical vision.
Language Skills:
- Good communication skills in both French and English is required
