The Challenge

Do you have a passion for problem-solving and supporting people to ensure things run smoothly especially when the main leader is away? We might just have the perfect opportunity for you!


We are looking for a dedicated and flexible Consultant to Support our People Lead (Part-Time). This position will require you to step in as an advisor and leader when needed, providing critical support during the People Lead's absences due to health or vacation. This role is dynamic and may require varied hours, with some months involving 40% capacity and others 0%, but a guaranteed amount every month.


You’ll need to be an expert in HR, able to inspire our close-knit team, and embody our values of trust, truthfulness with kindness, and a “learn-it-all” mindset. Your support will play a key role in ensuring our team stays productive, engaged, and motivated while maintaining smooth operations.


Key responsibilities


  • Leadership & Advisory Role: Stepping in as a team leader during the People Lead’s absence, guiding the team, solving blockers, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
  • People Representation to the Tessellation: Acting as the point of contact for all People-related matters in front of the board, solving challenges, and ensuring the team’s voice is heard and represented.
  • Project Management: Taking on an advisory and project manager role for ongoing projects, managing blockers, keeping timelines in check, and inspiring the team to deliver their best work. <aside> 🔊 Flexible Engagement: The role will be on-demand, with variable capacity depending on the People Lead’s needs, but a guaranteed monthly lump sum. Some months may require more hands-on support, others less so.
