Job Description

Mission:

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) promotes humane and orderly migration to benefit migrants and society. Established in 1951, IOM is a key source of advice on migration policy, emergency response, and capacity-building for governments.

Context:

This role supports a Korean-funded project in Sudan to enhance educational opportunities for students affected by displacement and conflict.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical and vocational training (TVET) to improve job prospects for youth.
  • Map educational needs and facilities to identify and address gaps.
  • Establish remote learning spaces and provide in-kind support (e.g., technology and visa fees).
  • Advocate and coordinate for education opportunities for displaced and vulnerable students.
