Job Description

The Workshop Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of an automotive repair workshop. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure that all repair and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a safe and productive work environment while ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in all repair tasks.
  2. Manage and lead a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to assess repair needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  4. Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts and materials for repairs.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed, ensuring documentation is up-to-date.
  6. Implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in automotive repair.
  7. Monitor workshop performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
  8. Address customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  9. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the workshop.
  10. Prepare reports on workshop performance and present them to management.
