The Workforce Planning Consultant will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of workforce planning initiatives. This role requires expertise in analyzing workforce needs, studying workforce requests, and preparing detailed workforce planning reports. The consultant will collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment between workforce plans and organizational goals, contributing to optimal resource allocation and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Workforce Planning Support:


    • Assist in the development and execution of workforce planning projects to align with business objectives.
    • Collaborate with department managers to forecast workforce needs based on strategic and operational plans.
  2. Workforce Demand Analysis:


    • Study and analyze workforce requests from various departments to assess staffing needs.
    • Identify workforce gaps and recommend solutions to ensure resource optimization.
  3. Report Preparation:


    • Prepare detailed workforce planning reports and dashboards for management review.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on workforce data analysis.
  4. Data-Driven Decision Making:


    • Use workforce data and analytics to support planning processes and inform decision-making.
    • Monitor workforce trends and identify future staffing requirements.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration:


    • Engage with key stakeholders across departments to ensure workforce plans align with organizational goals.
    • Support the development of workforce policies and procedures in coordination with HR.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3-7 years of experience in workforce planning, human resources, or a similar role.
    • Experience with workforce analytics and forecasting tools.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in workforce planning systems and tools.
    • Ability to prepare detailed reports and present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • HR-related certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) or workforce planning-specific certifications are a plus.
