Sets the vision for Supply Chain and serves as a key stakeholder in company-wide decision making with the express objective of enabling growth, improving margins, and reducing operational cost. Oversees the development of CAPEX and OPEX plans for concurrent and new projects for the forthcoming year. Oversees the development of category-wise Annual Demand Forecasts and monthly monitoring of the same through the generation of consumables plans and consumption reports. Oversees the performance of data collection and trends in relation to supply chain activities for analysis and internal distribution. Oversees the replenishment of critical inventory items at the warehouse is carried out on a timely basis. Oversees the development and implementation of the annual procurement plan, taking into consideration all procurement strategies, departmental needs, demand and supply levels and allocated budget. Oversees the development and implementation oftendering plans and sourcing strategies to promote the competitiveness of suppliers and mitigate risks related to supply through means of diversification. Oversee the performance of market research and analysis of suppliers to include on the supplier database anc ensure appropriate maintenance and access rights to the same. Oversee appointment of staff to communicate and manage relations with suppliers. Provide strategic input and advice on supplier related issues (e.g., contract fulfilment, variations, complaints and grievances). Oversees and recommends on the selection and implementation of inventory systems based on Al Borg's business requirements. Develops and maintains Supply Chain policies and processes allied to best practice, relevant laws and regulations, and the needs ofAl Borg and ensures the same are provided for Supply Chain staff and o:her relevant stakeholders (end-users, etc.), as required. Attend organisation-wide meetings, as required, and serve on the Executive Committee to review and align supply chain goals to other departmental and organisational objectives. Assists in recruitment of Supply Chain staff by interviewing and selecting candidates and overseeing their onboarding, induction and training. Ensure distribution warehouses are sized, designed and staffed properly in line with future requirements for volume, handling, storage, shipping and value-added service. Promotes and develops tight integration between planning and logistics (i.e. distribution) and optimizes performance in schedule attainment, adherence and on-time delivery.
