Reimagine What’s Possible PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDrives the objectives of exceeding safety and environment targets through the application of safe work practices and housekeeping standards in every aspect of the job. Follows and uses all supply/warehousing related processes and procedures to ensure safe, efficient and productive work practices. Works semi-autonomously in a small team environment that has developed high levels of communication.Ensures that hazardous and dangerous materials are handled, stored and transported in accordance with appropriate procedures, standards and legislation. Continuously seeks to improve on technical knowledge and to increase familiarity with other areas processesThe incumbent is required to take reasonable care of plant and equipment to ensure their own safety and the safety of those around them. In addition to utilizing all Personal Protective Equipment.The incumbent will undertake duties in accordance with standard operating and administrative procedures.To support QC Inspectors in day-to-day Inspection activities, picks the QC Documents from the packages & helps to prepare RFI.To support prepare materials for the preservation process.File QC & RFI Documents for future references.Help with rearranging materials to optimize space.Support with storing materials in bin locations and prepare materials for issuance to users.SKILLSMust have a knowledge of Warehousing processes.Hazardous Materials Handling training.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCESuccessful completion of Diploma as a minimum.Above average level of verbal and written English skills as a minimum.Above average level of problem-solving skills as a minimum.Average level of mechanical aptitude as a minimum.Should either currently have License/Operating certificate to operate mobile equipment identified for use in Warehouse or can receive one shortly after hire.2+ years of relevant experience in power / chemical / refinery / gas plant maintenance / inspection / engineering.2+ years previous material handling experienceCOMPETENCIESAdaptabilityMaintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.Building Customer LoyaltyEffectively meeting customer needs; building productive customer relationships; taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.CommunicationClearly and succinctly conveying information and ideas to individuals and groups in a variety of situations; communicating in a focused and compelling way that drives others’ thoughts and actions.
