Job Description

  1. Coffee Preparation: Brewing coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  2. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about the menu, and making recommendations.
  3. Cash Handling: Processing customer payments, operating the cash register, and ensuring accurate cash handling.
  4. Cleaning and Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of the café or coffee shop.
  5. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and equipment and notifying management when restocking is necessary.
  6. Barista Training: Training new staff on equipment operation, menu items, and customer service protocols, if applicable.
  7. Creating a Positive Environment: Fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers and coworkers.
  8. Adhering to Safety and Health Standards: Ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines in food and beverage preparation.
  9. Special Orders: Accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions from customers.


Skills

  2. Taking Orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
