Description



JOB PURPOSE:



Under the supervision of the Procurement Manager, manage the company’s external suppliers with respect to performance and capability. This role involves extensive communication, negotiation, and planning to ensure that the supplies and services are provided according to the contractual agreements and meet the Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling (“SANAD” or the “Organization” hereof) standards.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Evaluate vendor performance based on SANAD Procedures.
Coordinate with internal departments (like purchasing, logistics, and accounting) to streamline procurement processes.
Handle administrative tasks related to vendor management, such as reviewing registration documents and managing vendor databases.
Ensure compliance with both internal policies and external regulations pertaining to vendor engagements.
Assist with any issues and concerns related to vendor registration and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular vendor file audits to ensure adherence to SANAD procedures.
Assist with reports on vendor performance and other metrics for management.
Provide assistance to SANAD’s other business units on issues pertinent to job function; participate in performing routine checks and inspections to ensure the highest safety and quality standards are being maintained if required.
Take care of health, safety and environmental impact both personally, and for others who may be affected in the workplace. Cooperate with the Company and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal and company requirements.
Proactively seek out information that is relevant to job role whether internally or externally to efficiently and effectively deliver. Remain up to date with context of the Company and the role within it to provide insight on potential opportunities and/or challenges.

Product / Process Improvement:



Proactively evaluate the effectiveness of processes utilized within the department, and make and implement improvements as needed in order to increase efficiency.

Qualifications



JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and Experience:



A minimum of 0-2 years of previous experience.

Education and Certifications:



Mandatory: Higher secondary certificate AND Strong Command of English.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in General or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or relevant field.
