Urban Planning - Senior Manager

Years of experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience. 
Location: NEOM, KSA.
Project duration: 1 year, subject to extension.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Starting Date: as soon as possible.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Urban Planning Senior Manager to lead the coordination and integration of masterplans for large-scale, complex projects. This role requires a strong background in urban planning and design, coupled with the ability to manage diverse workstreams and ensure all aspects of the project are aligned with the overall vision. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in masterplan coordination, stakeholder management, and project delivery, particularly in megaproject environments.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the interfacing activities of the masterplan, ensuring seamless integration between various project workstreams.
• Coordinate efforts across all teams to ensure that all changes, updates, and revisions are accurately reflected in the masterplan.
• Maintain a comprehensive change tracker, ensuring that all project updates are monitored and timelines are adhered to for successful implementation.
• Develop detailed project briefs and RFPs for design-related tasks when necessary.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality design presentations in multiple formats, including PowerPoint, to stakeholders and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams, sector representatives, and third-party consultants to ensure that all masterplan requirements are fully met.
• Ensure that all deliverables comply with the established scope of work and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in Urban Planning and/or Masterplan coordination, particularly within large-scale or megaprojects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong technical stakeholder management experience, especially in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle and related project phases.
• Proven expertise in both design and project management, with an ability to oversee multiple streams of work.
• Strong knowledge of urban design, architecture, infrastructure, and landscape scopes, with an understanding of the synergies and overlaps between these fields.
• Previous experience with multinational firms in the role of master planner/urban planner is preferred.
