Responsibilities
· The incumbent will be required to translate reports, presentations and briefings.
· He will be required to liaise with other Directorates within HQRSAF, RSAF Main Operating Bases and depots plus the Prime Contractor and other vendors to confirm understanding and translation of documents.
· He will also be required at times to provide verbal translation during Supply meetings.
· Required to act on his own initiative, developing a sound understanding of the Customer’s requirements and priorities.
· The incumbent is required to deal with a wide range of problems and topics emanating from a number of different sources. Also, rapidly changing priorities and requirements necessitate that the incumbent be imaginative and flexible and be able to prioritise effectively.
· The incumbent must be a self-motivated and resilient individual who can work on his own initiative. He must be self-disciplined and organised.
Job Requirements:
· An excellent command of the English Language, both written and Oral is essential.
· An English Language Bachelor degree or equivalent and be fluent in both the written and spoken Arabic and English language is essential.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a translator or technical officer is necessary and be able to demonstrate understanding and translation of technical words and phrases.
· It is essential the incumbent has detailed experience in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
