Training Device Maintenance Specialist – B707 BOOM Operator Trainer

Boeing Saudi Arabia is seeking a Training Device Maintenance Specialist for B-707 BOOM Operator Trainer (BOT) to conduct training operations for the Royal Saudi Air Force in Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. This role will focus on repairs, testing, installation, configuration, upgrading and assisting in the day-to-day operations for the simulators and training components. during mission planning and simulator training sessions. The on-site support personnel will serve as Training Device Technician, data analyst and end-user technical support for the B-707 BOOM Operator Trainer (BOT). Additional support shall include ensuring all software security/anti-virus profiles are current, establishing regular backup sessions, and providing over-the-shoulder system support if required. This position is located at Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) Al-Kharj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists with repairs and tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
Performs general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies and components.
Conducts functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators.
Troubleshoot complex problems across diverse technological domains, including, but not limited to computer systems and networking, visual systems, motion system, and avionics systems.
Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, configure and modify simulation, electronic and mechanical systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Aircrew Training Devices (ATDs), including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
Collaborate with pilots, instructors, and other technicians to identify and resolve training device malfunctions.
Conduct regular system calibration and updates, ensuring accurate simulation performance.
Maintain complete logistics support records, repairs, modifications and system performance.
Perform scheduled inventory audits to verify parts availability and locations.
Implement and follow established ordering procedures for spares and Repair of Repairable (ROR) to ensure smooth operation and adequate stock of critical components.
Coordinating training requirements and objectives with relevant stakeholders.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Avionics, Electronics, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Flight Simulators.
Must have troubleshooting skills.
Physically able to perform manual labor tasks.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Ability to interpret schematics and read technical documents written in English.
Experience working with military Aircrew Training Devices (ATDs).
Experience working with Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) training departments.
Experience with inventory management and database applications is a plus.
