Summary:
The Traditional Trade Sales Team Leader plays a pivotal role in
driving the success of the sales team focused on traditional trade channels.
This leadership position involves overseeing and coordinating the activities of
the traditional trade sales team, ensuring effective communication, and
implementing strategies to achieve sales targets. The Team Leader must possess
strong leadership qualities and a deep understanding of traditional trade
dynamics to guide the team toward optimal performance.
Responsibilities: Team Leadership:
- Provide
guidance, support, and direction to the traditional trade sales team to ensure
individual and collective success.
Sales Strategy:
- Develop
and implement effective sales strategies for traditional trade channels,
aligning with overall business objectives.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate
and maintain relationships with key traditional trade partners, distributors,
and retailers to enhance market penetration and share.
Performance Monitoring:
- Regularly
analyze sales performance data, identify areas of improvement, and implement
corrective measures to achieve sales targets.
Training and Development:
- Foster
the professional development of team members through coaching, training
programs, and continuous skill enhancement.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and supply chain, to
ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales strategies.
Budget Management:
- Oversee
the budget for the traditional trade sales team, ensuring optimal allocation of
resources to maximize results.
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the traditional
trade sales team. Regularly assess processes, identify opportunities for
efficiency gains, and implement changes to enhance overall performance.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-6 Proven experience in traditional trade sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the traditional trade landscape, including market trends and competitor activities.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Proficient in relevant software applications and CRM tools.
