Job Description
Objective:responsible for the overall management
and leadership of the Trading Business operations team. This includes
overseeing the day-to-day operations, developing, and implementing new
processes and procedures, and ensuring that the business operations comply with
all applicable rules and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong
understanding of the financial markets, experience in a leadership role, and
the ability to effectively manage a team of professionals.
What you'll do!- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Trading Business operations team: This includes ensuring that the operations are running smoothly and efficiently, as well as providing guidance and support to the operations team.
- Developing and implementing new processes and procedures: This involves identifying areas where the exchange's operations can be improved and then developing and implementing new processes and procedures to address those areas.
- Ensuring that the business operations comply with all applicable rules and regulations: This involves staying up to date on the latest rules and regulations, and then ensuring that the operations comply with those rules and regulations.
- Representing the operation to regulators and other stakeholders: This involves attending meetings with regulators and other stakeholders and representing the client’s interests.
- Managing a team of professionals: This involves hiring, training, and motivating the operations team, as well as ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives.
- Developing and implementing training programs for the operations team: This involves identifying the training needs of the operations team and then developing and implementing training programs to address those needs.
- Staying up to date on market developments and changes to regulations: This is essential for ensuring that the business operations comply with the latest rules and regulations, as well as for identifying opportunities to improve the operations
What you should have!- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in investment management and stock exchange operations or a related role
- Strong understanding of the financial markets
- Experience in a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
