You as a Trade Logistics Specialist (TT&L) will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Your responsibilities Developing and implementing efficient transportation strategies, including route optimization, carrier selection, and load planning for Cross-border trade. Managing and monitoring all modes of transportation (e.g., truck, rail, air, sea) ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Managing increase volume and complexity of Heavy Lift operations within the Service Business as per Heavy Lift procedures. Negotiating rates and service levels with carriers, build and maintain strong carrier relationships with customs regulations global and local. Tracking shipments proactively, identify and resolve potential delays or disruptions. Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement Developing and implementing process improvements to streamline logistics operations Utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) effectively for planning, execution, and tracking. Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to transportation costs, delivery performance, and inventory levels. Generating reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor supply chain performance. Utilizing data analytics tools to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize decision-making. Your background A bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or relevant field is preferred. Minimum 6 to 7 years of experience in relevant industry and equipment’s as heavy lift is required. Knowledge in SCM is preferred. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
