Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of JABA's services, including guided tours, 4x4 adventures, water sports, and other experiences.
- Ensure all activities are delivered to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Manage the scheduling and logistics of activities, staff, and equipment.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of operations staff, guides, and service providers.
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure clear communication among team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve staff productivity and morale.
- Customer Experience:
- Maintain a customer-first approach by ensuring exceptional guest experiences in all activities.
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues effectively.
- Resource Management:
- Monitor and manage the use of JABA-owned assets, including vehicles, boats, and equipment.
- Ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to and coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols for all activities and facilities.
- Reporting and Budgeting:
- Prepare regular operational reports for the General Manager, detailing KPIs, challenges, and improvements.
- Manage the operational budget and contribute to cost optimization without compromising service quality.
- Collaboration and Partnerships:
- Coordinate with external service providers, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Build relationships with local stakeholders to enhance JABA’s presence in Yanbu.
RequirementsQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the tourism or hospitality sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with safety standards and local regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations management tools.
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
- A valid driver’s license.
