As a Welder at Alfa Laval, your mission is to perform high-quality manual welding, adhering to equipment construction standards.
Key Activities:
·Weld pressure equipment using various materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, and titanium.
·Follow welding instructions (WPS) precisely.
·Ensure quality, productivity, and punctuality in your work.
·Maintain a clean and efficient workstation.
·Repair weld defects when necessary.
·Adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations (ISO 9001, OHSAS, ISO 14001).
What We’re Looking For:
·Skilled in GTAW (TIG), SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding processes.
·Diploma from an industrial technical institute or equivalent experience.
·Minimum 5 years of experience in boiler making and pressure equipment.
·Basic knowledge of technical drawing and English.
·Ability to read and understand welding instructions in English.
·Familiarity with materials and non-destructive testing methods (PT, MT, UT, RT).
·Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 3834, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001).
·Accuracy, adaptability, flexibility, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
·Willingness to work in shifts and on-site.
·Must pass welder qualification (ASME IX) for GTAW and SMAW processes in 6G position.
