Industrial Complex, Riyadh
The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.
Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.
The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.
Job Purpose Lead the process of responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and invitations to tender (ITTs) from potential clients or customers. Coordinate and manage the tendering process, ensuring that proposals are well-prepared, compliant with client requirements, and submitted on time. Securing new business opportunities and contracts.
Key Accountability Areas Strategic Approach and Business Development:

Present Alfanar as a solution provider rather than a product supplier and effectively target customers with the full portfolio of products.
Extend the company's portfolio to increase opportunities in coordination with marketing product managers and factories.
Support the marketing team to enhance marketing tools.
Assist in business analysis and other departmental development work.

Tender Management:

Manage and monitor all incoming enquiries/tenders effectively.
Plan tender milestones and monitor deadlines.
Coordinate and follow up with proposal team members and activities.
Verify and quality control cost and price calculation tools.
Lead proposal review and approval routines.
Analyze and coordinate answers to customer questions and participate in negotiations.
Responsible for ultimately producing winning proposals according to customer requirements.
Leading the negotiation during the bidding stage to arrange the best offers from suppliers.
Develop tender tools to support the business and maintain up-to-date databases.

Pre-Sales and Product Development:

Support the pre-sales process, product development, and pre-research scope.
Analyze and evaluate customer Requests for Proposals.
Project Management and Coordination:
Control project budget and delivery by coordinating with all related functions (Design, supply chain, project management, account, etc.).


Knowledge Management:

Maintain a Lessons Learned database from existing projects.

Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.
Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.
Assessment criteria of subordinates is performance that leads to planned results.
Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

Provide periodic work progress reports.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.

Organizational Development:

Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.

Business Process Improvements:

Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.
