ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Provide technical support to the rig Maintenance Teams on a 24/7 basis whilst remaining fully conversant with SANAD Policies and Procedures Undertake any routine rig, related Maintenance, or any delegated project within the job specialization. Perform routine rig inspections to assess the Rig Maintenance standards, ensuring adherence to the SANAD CMMS and applicable maintenance protocols; complete respective reports for review by Maintenance Supervisors/Managers and Operations.
Assist Rig Maintenance teams on spare part requirements and correctly “tooling” in order to maintain Operational effectiveness. Carry out routine assessment and evaluation of the Rig Maintenance Teams to ensure they are effective in their role. Perform OJT mentoring where required. Maintain compliance with Training requirements as specified for area of specialization. Address past due work orders with rig personnel – action plan to close-out work orders. Provide assistance to SANAD’s other business units on issues pertinent to job function; participate in performing routine checks and inspections to ensure the highest safety and quality standards are being maintained if required.
Take care of health, safety and environmental impact both personally, and for others who may be affected in the workplace. Cooperate with the Company and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal and company requirements.
Adapt to, and participate in, any program/changes in SANAD including but not limited to strategic initiatives, operational initiatives and performance uplift tasks; conduct any relevant work that may result from these changes as an integral part of this job description and employment contract.
Help support the organization in extraordinary events such as claims by contractors, dispute reviews and participation in arbitration. Perform any other activity as required by the company both at the company premises and remotely when requested by the company. Contribute to the execution and delivery of any activities as and when required to ensure the continuity of work in the absence of other colleagues. Proactively evaluate the effectiveness of processes utilized within the designated department and make and implement improvements as needed in order to increase efficiency.
Onsite, but primarily Rig Location. Travel for training and company events when requested.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 6-7 years of relevant experience
Mandatory: Technical Diploma in relevant field
