This role is pivotal in developing, writing, and distributing high-quality technical documents that effectively communicate essential information to various stakeholders in the industry.
As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to create documentation that meets the technical and regulatory needs of the Oil & Gas sector. This role is critical in supporting the submission of peer-reviewed technical articles that contribute to industry innovation and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including project reports, standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials specific to the Oil & Gas industry.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to gather, analyze, and organize complex information for documentation.
- Technical writing and editing: Assist SMEs in editing and formatting technical papers for submission to peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences.
- Research and documentation: Collaborate with SMEs to structure complex data, technical findings, and industry best practices in well-organized papers.
- Journal submission process: Facilitate the journal submission process, including formatting compliance, reference management, and responding to peer-review feedback.
- Ensure consistency and standards: Maintain high editorial and technical writing standards, following industry-specific guidelines and referencing styles.
